Meet Candace Wilson. Candace is a very lovely and talented local photographer. She is also one of my role models. With that being said, I must confess that I was a bit more nervous during this session than I naturally would have been inclined to be. :)

It is not uncommon for photographers to be so busy, and immersed with client sessions, that they seldom manage to have their own family portraits recorded. "Since we are photographers, why can't we just take our own family photos?" Well, it's not quite that simple. Any mother whom has spent many hours trying to get her children to cooperate as she chases them around with a camera, and attempts to photograph them, would know that it is not easy at all. Especially when toddlers are involved. It is no different for a photographer with their own family. Upon occasion, we enlist the aid of another photographer for this very reason. This time, I was that photographer. I felt so blessed and honored at the same time.

A beautiful location, beautiful weather, beautiful light, and a beautiful family are all ingridients for a BEAUTIFUL session. It wasn't just beautiful, it was perfect! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images.
